Victorian changes traffic rules which specifically address the use of mobile phones and visual displays (such as GPS devices) will from September 11, 2009. New rules for cell phone have been modified and allows for navigation (GPS) and audio / music functions of the mobile phone to be used, provided that the mobile phone business in fixed housing attached to the vehicle. In summary – Have your mobile phone (GPS), located in the cradle and “fix” from the cradle to the point of your vehicle that does not obscure your vision. Consideration of “Bluetooth” device that allows you to receive and make calls without touching your mobile phone. The investment required for one device, Bluetooth may be the best investment you will make this year.
